TERMS & CONDITIONS — CASA DI YOGA

RETREAT CONFIRMATION

Acceptance into the retreat is subject to the following:

  • Booking Completion: Online booking completion with explicit agreement to these Terms & Conditions.

  • Deposit Payment: Receipt of the non-refundable deposit.

  • Confirmation: Explicit booking confirmation issued by CASA DI YOGA.

Admission is at the sole discretion of CASA DI YOGA. We reserve the right to refuse admission on any grounds. If admission is refused prior to the start of the retreat, all monies paid will be refunded.

PAYMENTS

  • Currency: All prices and payments are processed in Euros (€).

  • Payment Processor: Payments are securely processed via Bank Transfer (EFT).

  • Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of €500.00 is required to secure your booking.

  • Payment Plans: Payments can be made in full or in instalments, subject to prior arrangement with CASA DI YOGA.

  • Deadlines: The remaining balance must be paid in full at least 30 days prior to arrival. Bookings made less than 42 days prior to the retreat start date must be paid in full immediately.

  • No Deductions: We do not offer discounts or deductions if you are unable to attend the full duration of the retreat.

  • Late Payments: If the deposit or balance is not received within the specified timeframe, you will be in breach of these T&Cs. You will be given a 24-hour notice to settle the payment. Failure to do so grants CASA DI YOGA the right to cancel your booking and apply the cancellation fees set out below.

CANCELLATIONS BY THE GUEST

Should you need to cancel your booking, cancellation fees will apply. A cancellation is only effective once CASA DI YOGA receives your written notification and responds with an official acknowledgment.

If you cancel your retreat booking:

  • 30 days or more prior to the retreat start date: CASA DI YOGA will retain the 50% non-refundable deposit.

  • Fewer than 30 days prior to the retreat start date: CASA DI YOGA will retain 100% of the total amount paid.

In any event where a refund is warranted, the refund will be processed net of any bank charges or transaction fees incurred. If you fail to join the retreat, arrive late, or leave prior to its completion, no refunds or price deductions will be made.

CANCELLATIONS BY CASA DI YOGA & FORCE MAJEURE

  • Operational Cancellations: In the event that CASA DI YOGA must cancel a retreat due to internal, unforeseen operational circumstances (such as sudden teacher illness or venue cancellations), a full refund of the paid retreat fee will be given.

  • Force Majeure / Safety Cancellations: If CASA DI YOGA must cancel a retreat for the safety of our guests due to circumstances beyond our control (including, but not limited to, acts of God, war, threat of war, closure of airports, civil strife, natural disasters, fire, or pandemics), no refund will be given. In these circumstances, guests must rely on their personal travel insurance for financial recovery.

EXCLUSIONS OF LIABILITY

Without limitation, CASA DI YOGA is not responsible or liable for bodily injury, death, delays, changes, or financial losses caused by, but not limited to: acts of God, war, threat of war, closure of airports, civil strife, natural disasters, pandemics, accidents, or any other events beyond or within our control.

CASA DI YOGA accepts no liability for guests' injuries, illnesses, medical or psychiatric conditions developed during or subsequent to the holiday, nor for the loss of, theft of, or damage to the personal property of guests.

BOOKING CHANGES

If you wish to transfer your booking to a different retreat date or transfer it to a third party within the same calendar year, you must notify us in writing at least 30 days prior to the original retreat start date. Transfers are subject to availability.

  • First Transfer: The first transfer is permitted free of charge.

  • Subsequent Transfers: Any subsequent transfers will incur an administrative fee of €50.00 per person.

  • Late Requests: If you notify us less than 30 days prior to the retreat date, the standard cancellation policy will apply.

INSURANCE

Guests are required to take out comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking. CASA DI YOGA strongly recommends that your policy covers trip cancellations, curtailment, personal liability, medical expenses, emergency repatriation, and the loss or damage of luggage and personal effects.

While all reasonable measures are taken to ensure a high standard of health and safety, our retreats are situated on a private island, and CASA DI YOGA shall not be held responsible for injuries caused by nature or the local environment. It is your responsibility to maintain up-to-date travel documentation and follow government travel guidelines for Italy and The Netherlands.

RETREAT CHANGES

CASA DI YOGA makes every effort to ensure the scheduled programme remains unchanged. However, if a designated teacher becomes unavailable, we reserve the right to replace them with an equally suitable instructor. Wherever possible, you will be advised of schedule alterations in advance.

UPDATING OF T&C'S

CASA DI YOGA reserves the right to update and/or alter these Terms & Conditions at any time. It is your responsibility to familiarize yourself with them prior to booking. The latest version available online supersedes all previous versions.
